Associate

Can i stay without having or making friends? I believe EVERYONE needs friends-people they can relax with during good times and rely on during the bad. Friends who will stick with you through the thick and thin!
As an elemental fact: children develop characters easily through the influence of friends especially at teen age years. Teen-age years is a period when a child is bound to experience what is called peer pressure as they are tempted to join peers in improper conduct-smoking, drinking of alcohols, drugs, sex etc. The forging of close friendship with people who do not share your interests and values will definitely affect your conduct, where you begin to slide deeper and deeper into the quicksand of this world.
A child is launched into his own orbit of beliefs, view and characteristics of an adult life as he relates with his friends.
What to Do
  1. "Evil communication corrupts good manner," so parents should watch their childs association at close range.
  2. A child is advised to leave the scene of peer pressure quickly, because the longer you stay, the greater the chance that you will become their puppet.

School problems are caused by teen-agers and are not filtered from the problems of the society today. Recently, The New York Times reported, describes these conditions as alarming and calls for intervention where "Students sleep in class, threaten each other, belittle the good students....Almost all the students are coping with problems like caring for babies, dealing with incarcerated parents and survivng gang violence. Almost one-fifth are absent on any given day."
What children at these young ages engages are critically amazing. They involve in routine shootings and stabbings. Many educators worldwide commented that children of nowadays especially teen-agers have no respect for teachers, and such disrespect for authority poses a real danger to other children and the society in general.
To curb these problems in school, parents, counselors and the society should understand that the teachers are no longer the only captain on board, ans so request for cooperation by:

  • Telling their children right from wrong.
  • Discipline them for acts of misconduct.
  • Teaching them the word of God.
  • Show mutual love and care for them.
  • Instill in their children obedience and respect for authority.
